Can anyone use the website? All direct buying Hershey customers may register to become an approved user of the Customer.Hersheys.com Website. As an approved registered user, you will only be able to see your account information. This is to ensure the privacy and security of all Hershey customers.
How do I register and obtain a password?
Go to the customer.hersheys.com website.
Click on “Register” and complete all fields on the Registration Page. In the space provided, please be sure to list the HSY sold to numbers that you are requesting to access.
After all information has been completed, click on the "Register” button located at the bottom of the screen.
A Registration Received confirmation email will be sent to you.
After your registration has been processed and approved you will receive a Registration Approved email. This email will contain a link to set your Password. Click on the Set Password link to create your personal password for the website.
After setting your password, you are ready to sign in and use the customer.hersheys.com Website.
Can I place an order on customer.hersheys.com? Yes. Orders can be placed using the Quick Order or Browse Products buttons on the home page.
How do I obtain order status information?
Log onto the website using your email address and password.
If you have access to just one sold to number, verify that the sold to number listed in the upper right hand corner of the screen is correct.
After all information has been completed, click on the "Register” button located at the bottom of the screen.
If you have access to multiple sold to numbers, select a sold to number from the drop down list. Click on the continue button.
Select the Order History button in the middle of your screen. You can search by Order Number, PO Date, PO Number or Requested Delivery Date. Click on the Search button.
After submitting your search criteria the system will display header data for those orders returned by the search.
Click on the Order number to retrieve detailed information for a specific order.
How can I tell if all items on my PO have shipped complete?
Follow the steps from step 3 above.
Click on the Order number to view details of a particular order.
Total information located at the top portion of the screen shows a summary of various order details which include: Net Value, Invoiced, Open and Cut information.
A detail line is provided for each item ordered and will display units ordered, shipped or open.
Are updates to an order real time or delayed? Information on customer.hersheys.com is real time and available 24/7.
Does the product catalog include all Hershey items? All Hershey items on the National Item List and National Season Item Lists are part of the database.
How do I obtain product information? Select Browse Products from the home page. Click on the item description to display the item details. Item details can also be found in the product catalog download. The Download Product button can be found in the upper right hand corner of the Browse Products page.
Is there an easy way to return to the landing page? Yes, click on the Hershey logo found on the top left of the page. Clicking on the Hershey logo will return you to the landing page.
Can I change the language in which the site is displayed in? Yes, there is a drop down menu, found on the bottom right of all pages, that will allow you to select an available language.
I tried different browsers and get a different notification when navigating away from a page. Why are these notifications different? Each browser will provide a different notification for the same action. These notifications are browser specific and not produced by the site.

Open Units - The amount of ordered product that has not yet shipped.

PDF captures formatting information from a variety of desktop publishing applications, making it possible to send formatted documents and have them appear on the recipient's monitor or printer as they were intended. To view a file in PDF format, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free application distributed by Adobe Systems (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/).
Planned Ship Date - The date the product is scheduled to ship (subject to change). Please continue to check the site for updates.
PO Date - The date a customer's purchase order is posted into Hershey's Order Management System.
Price (in product catalog) - Hershey's list price.
Order Number - A Hershey order number assigned to a customer's purchase order.
HSY Sold To Number - A customer account number assigned by Hershey.
Price (on Order History Screens and Check Out Pages) - Total net dollar price. Net prices are provided for the entire PO and for line items on the PO.
Weight - The gross weight of the line and entire order
Pallet Spots - The calculated physical number of pallet spots on a truck, which will be needed to ship this order.
